49er Pioneer Faire and Honey Run Covered Bridge Breakfast

On Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Butte Creek Canyon come and experience a living history lesson and participate in the annual Covered Bridge Pancake Breakfast and Centerville’s 49er Pioneer Day Faire!  The pancake breakfast featuring pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee, goes from 7am to 11am, cost is $7.50 for adults, and $5 for children 10 and under. All proceeds benefit the Honey Run Covered Bridge Associations dedication to preserving and maintaining the bridge and park. After breakfast come enjoy Centerville’s 49er Pioneer Day Faire, which presents the locals display of fine arts and crafts, music, BBQ food and drink, plant sale, and country store. Also watch demonstrations of gold panning, Pack Mule display, quilting, weaving, wool spinning, and blacksmithing. A silent auction and raffle will also be held, with a Grand Prize vacation stay in a mountain resort home. Enjoy live music as well.

Visit the PG&E Centerville Power House between 9am and 2pm to learn its history and resource conservation in Butte Creek Canyon OR attend an informal walk-about at the Centerville Cemetery. A shuttle is provided.

Take Honey Run Rd off the Skyway to visit the Covered Bridge. After the bridge, take a left on Centerville Rd and drive 4 miles to the Coleman Museum in Centerville.
